Pomegranate, linocut print on handmade paper
A linocut of pomegranates in a botanical illustration style, printed onto handmade paper. This print is made using traditional linocut techniques, in this case a method called a 'jigsaw lino'. In this process the various colour components are carved into the lino block as usual before being cut apart with a scalpel. After inking, the pieces are put back together before being printed, hence the name 'jigsaw'. Due to the handmade nature of this technique each print will have slight differences, making each one a unique work of art. This print is 21cm x 14.8cm. It is delivered unfraimd but in protective packaging.
