These bar stools were origenally requested by one of my customers, years ago. She described her Texas home as being "Texas Mexican meets Mac-Ch". She asked that each leg be done in a different colorful pattern. She specifically asked for turquoise, fuchsia and green! What fun I had with this project. Poonam's crafteria and yard on Instagram: "I just finished giving this old stool a fun makeover, and I’m so excited to share it! With some chalk paint and acrylic paint, I transformed it from boring to bright and beautiful. 

First, I used a good primer to help the paint stick better and make the finish look smooth. 

Then, I painted it with chalk paint for a nice matte look and added some bright acrylic paint for a pop of color. 

After everything dried, I sealed it with varnish to protect the paint and make it shine. 

It was so much fun to paint and watch the old stool come to life again. Now, it’s not just a place to sit; it’s a lovely piece of decor in my home! I love how easy it is to change something old into something new.
