Do you sleep better in pitch black? Yes, unless full, inky darkness is so unnerving to you that you find it hard to get to sleep in the first place and so, don’t sleep restfully. However, sleeping and getting to sleep is only half of the story; the other half being the need to ultimately wake up without a jolt, and to feel rested and refreshed when you do.
