Community Council Elections
* Olivier Hallot and Eike Rathke have been confirmed to represent
"you" in the Community Council.
The current elections and the underlying process is documented

* In the next Community Council meeting it will be decided how to
proceed with regard to the "Product Development Representative".
Most likely, the whole elections for this role will be re-done.
Thus, other community members might consider their nomination.

*Petrobras deploys OpenOffice.org in 90 thousands desktops

Petroleo Brasileiro SA, a 123 Billion oil and gas corporation -
initiated the deployment of BrOffice.org (or OpenOffice.org in Brazil)
in all its desktops, estimated up to 90.000 machines. Marcia Novaes, the
Petrobras IT department project coordinator, stated "We also defined
the change of our internal document standards and we adopted ODF"
