Not really; in any big company, VPs are as common as dirt. Even a medium-sized company might have 20 or more. Being a VP doesn't make you an exec; that's for senior VPs and corporate officers.

Novell really need to update their list of
executives; it looks bad when someone from one of your wholly owned
subsidaries is giving interviews as one of your vice presidents, yet
isn't listed with the rest of them. Gives trolls something to play with,
too.
