The Old Barracks Museum, Trenton, NJ
Built in 1758 for the Regulars - British troops - to quarter 300 men. Housed British and American soldiers during the Revolutionary War. Later a medical hospital for smallpox inoculation. Partially demolished to make a road to the Capitol. After a variety of uses became a museum in 1903. Structure restored in 1917. Fully restored (yet modernized, handicap accessible) by 1998.
