Prepare your concrete pad for resurfacing by cleaning and etching it. Apply the resurfacing material with a squeegee or a trowel.

It’s crucial to accurately estimate how much concrete you’ll need for a poured slab. After all, you don’t want to buy more bags of ready-mix concrete than necessary. Fortunately, it’s easy to measure your slab and convert those numbers into cubic feet or yards for an accurate estimate of your needs.

Once the 3/4” layer of sand is in we installed each of these 36”x36” precast concrete pavers. I used a 2x4 as a guide to creat even spacing between the patio pavers. It’s important to double check the level of each slab at this point. The DIY patio design is coming together!
