- Historically accurate Rapunzel - I imagined her as a late to mid 16th century German girl, more specifically at the court of Saxony. The dress was heavily inspired by the paintings of Lucas Cranach the Elder, in fact dresses like these are called 'Cranach dresses', because he painted so many.
