Rothiemurchus campsite in Rothiemurchus Estate, Coylumbridge Rothiemurchus Forest is a remnant of the Caledonian Forest near Aviemore, Badenoch and Strathspey, Highland, Scotland.The forest is popular for recreation and contains important European wildlife, including the osprey, Scottish crossbill, capercaillie, crested tit and wild cat. Stretching from the River Spey to the high mountain plateau, Rothiemurchus sits within the Cairngorms National Park.

In contrast to the South Camp that is adjacent to the larger Skokomish Park Beach + Day Use Area, this North Camp may feel a little more dedicated to overnight use. Access to Lake Cushman from the campground is by trail, there is no boat ramp, and all of the day use amenities, including the store, are on the south side of the Big Creek Inlet.
