"Very pretty 18k gold pin from the mid Victorian Period c. 1870 is formed of a hollow shield-shaped body etched with a wavy pattern, tiny star bursts and decorative trim. The top has a stylized ribbon surmounted that is decorated with taille d'Epergne enameling and is set with two grey seed pearls. This is a fine example of the etching that was typical of the period.
