Vivian Westwood A/W Buffalo Girls collection, 1982/1983. Westwood was a prominent fashion designer of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today, who designed "alternative" youth clothing starting in the 1970s. She responsible for bringing punk and new wave fashion to the mainstream in the 70s and created the new romanticism “pirate” look a huge trend in the early 80s. Her designs feature many historic references such as her mini-crini of the 80s.
