Recipe details: 

Ingredients -

For filling-
1. Mava / Khoya 400gm
2. ⁠desiccated coconut 1 cup
3. ⁠Dates deseeded and chopped 15-20
4. ⁠Anjeer 8-10
5. ⁠Kishmish/Raisins 1/2 cup
6. ⁠Chironji 1/4 cup
7. ⁠Pista coarsely grinded 1/2 cup

Ingredients 
For the dough
1. all purpose flour - 3 cups
2. Pinch of salt
3. Ghee / clarified butter - 6 tbsp
4. Water - 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp
For the filling 
1. Ghee - 1 tbsp
2. Khoya - 250gms
3. Shaved dry coconut - 1/4 cup
4. Chopped almonds - 1.5 tbsp
5. Chopped pistachios - 1.5 tbsp
6. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
7. Powdered sugar - 1/4 cup 
8. Charoli nuts - 1.5 tbsp
9. Water - 1 cup (for sealing the gujiyas)
For frying 
1. Ghee - 400gms
For presentation 
1. Crushed pistachios - 1 tsp
2. Shaved almonds - 1 tsp
For sugar syrup/ chashni 
1. Water - 2 cups
2. Sugar - 4 cups

Important notes -
1. let the dough be a little hard, it shouldn’t be soft.
2. Mix the ghee in the flour first, crumble it all together, then add water. This will give the gujiy Gujiya Recipe, Crushed Pistachios, Holi Special, Dry Coconut, Clarified Butter, Cardamom Powder, Sugar Syrup, All Purpose Flour, Recipes Dessert

Gujiya is a delicious sweet dumpling prepared during the festivals like Holi and Diwali in India. It is known as “Karanji” in Maharashtra, “Ghughra” in Gujarat and “Gujjia” in Rarajasthan and North India and made with slightly different stuffings/fillings in different regions of India. SAVE the reel to try later :)) ➡️ Steps :- 1) In a kadai heat ghee, add 1 cup Sooji, 1tbsp Coconut powder, 1 tbsp dry fruits, ½ cup Khoya, 1 tsp Cardamom powder, 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar. Sauté over medium flame until it turns aromatic and changes colour. Make sure everything binds well. Let the mixture cool 2) Now in a bowl add 2 cup Maida, 1 tbsp ghee. Mix to combine well. Gradually add water and knead a dough. Rest the dough for 15 min 3) Make balls of the dough and roll into thick circle 4) Place the rolled circle on a Gujiya mould, moisten the edges.
