The internet is abound with images shared by people who have captured images at just the right moment or from just the right perspective, so we wanted to share some more of them with you.

These photos of symmetry and order are appealing to humans and animals alike. Both in society and in the wild, organisms that are “more symmetrical” have a better chance at finding a mate than those who don't. Some speculate that this is one way of identifying a healthy partner.

The green light most often refers to a traffic signal; the fixtures that are a ubiquitous part of our roadways.

In fact, they'll shit all over authority if you give them half a chance. Partly this is because they're birds and they'll shit all over anything anyway.
