I see this in natal charts a lot too! Either scorpio /vigo placements in the big six, north node, or having heavy Scorpio placements in the 6th house or Virgo placments in the 8th house. I have a Virgo sun, mecury and MC. Then a Scorpio Rising with Pluto in Scorpio conjunct my rising making pluto in scorpio my chart ruler. Also pluto is my dominate planet and I have a hades(8th house moon).
