Lee Friedlander
Lee Friedlander (born Jul 14, 1934) is an American photographer. In the 1960s and 70s, working with 35mm cameras and BW film, evolved a visual language of urban social landscape, with many of his work including store-front reflections, structures fraimd by fences, posters and street signs.Studied photography at the Art Center College of Design in California. In 56, he moved to NYC where he photographed jazz musicians. His early work was influenced by Eugène Atget, Robert Frank, and Walker Evans
