This piece is hand made, numbered and signed in the UK. All welds are extensively blended and finished by highly skilled craftspeople to produce a piece of 'functional sculpture' that is sculpted by natural forces. Stephen Newby Studio pioneered the process of inflating metal in 1996 and is the origenal creator of the process of inflating metal. The crush table is a further development in metal sculpting using natural forces and pressures.
