Rachel Liana on Instagram: "Water fountain project for the ponies 🙌 Trubee likes it, Tucker and Adee prefer still water though 🤣 The fountain runs off solar so only has enough juice to run part time, so the horses have plenty of opportunities to drink while it’s not running! Plus a second smaller water bucket that is easy to dump and clean regularly to prevent bugs in it. This contraception has a filter built into it, so we’re hoping it will be able to keep the trough clean for a lot longer than before! I was cleaning larvae out of here constantly until we implemented the fountain, and haven’t seen any since 🥳 We chose not to do an autofill because we like tracking how much the horses are drinking by refilling it manually, too.
