The Jalwa is a tradition of the wedding rituals from the initial engagement, the Dezza, In Kuwait the signing of the marriage contract, the arrival of the bride on the wedding day, the Jelwa and finally, the arrival of the groom.

Daraa- The Daraa is the traditonal Kuwaiti dress for women. It can also be called a thobe. The traditional Daraa is long sleeved, loose and floor length. It usually has a sheer part covered in sequence and embroidery.
