I made these ceramic shelves to display some of the strange and wondrous objects I collected that don't really have a place anywhere but deserve to be seen. Built in are sections, either a little cubby in the brown pieces, or a separate bottom section and a half shelf in the light pieces. Depending on how they are outfitted, the cabinets can serve as bright and pretty wall candy, as a spiritual shrine, an alchemist's curiosity cabinet... you choose. Each shelf can be further customized by using the three holes on the bottom to dangle things from, like beads, coins, ornaments etc. While I am frequently restocking the brown shrines with turquoise glaze (A) and the brown unglazed ones (B), I occasionally add some different glaze options to the mix; the current additional options are brown ceramic with the vibrant turquoise glaze in the main compartment and a semi-matte opaque pink in the cubby (C), and the Northern lights glaze (D), a glossy glaze that creates a beautiful dark-blue-to-light-green effect. Can be hung from the wall via a hole in the back, or stand freely. Stoneware clay. Dimensions: H: approx. 6", W: approx. 5", D: approx. 2.25" Please choose from the following options: - Brown stoneware clay with speckles, back wall opaque turquoise glaze with golden flecks (A); - Brown stoneware clay with speckles, unglazed (B); - Brown stoneware clay with speckles, back wall of main compartment turquoise glaze with golden flecks, small compartment semi-matte pink (C); - Brown stoneware clay, back wall glazed in Northern lights glaze (D). The cabinets are empty and ready to be customized. A matching nail for wall hanging is included.
