Dollar Tree Egg and Bunny Easter Shelf Sitter | By Creating Through Chaos | Hey everybody it's Janice with Creating Through Chaos. I'm going to start this project off with this Dollar Tree Egg and a Dollar Tree Bunny. The first thing I'm going to do is give this egg and the bunny both a coat of this antique white paint. It's called vintage linen and I get it at Hobby Lobby. And I'm going to do just a little bit on the front and then I am going to do the full back and the sides. And then once I finish painting the egg I'm going to set that aside and I'm going to let that dry and then I'm just going to give a quick coat of the same paint to the bunny. And I ended up doing the front and the back of the bunny and along the edges. I'm going to start this project off with this piece of wood that I got from a Dollar Tree. And I'm going to use the colour vintage mustard and I am going to paint the whole block this colour. I did the front, the back, and the sides. And I just did one quick coat of this. It is chalk paint so it goes on pretty thick. Once I have it all painted and it's fully dry I'm going to sand off and distress all of these edges. And I just use my little hand sander.
