Diu’s Naida caves have been regarded as one of the most magnificent natural attractions since primeval times. These caves vary in shape and size and have natural openings into the ground. They are formed as a result of ‘speleogenesis’, which refers to the formation of caves due to the weathering of rocks. It involves a combination of various processes such as erosion by water, tectonic forces, atmospheric influences and more, which take millions of years to occur. PC & CC: @IndiaLostandFound
