From a series for a corporate technical report. What we did: Concept, illustration, graphic design

The chart shows the internal displacements from 2013 to 2015 due to natural disasters. It takes into account the first four countries affected by those movements of each continent. The flow is then divided by the types of disasters and then the total number of people displaced. Team: Sara Batisti, Alicia Gonzalez, Emanuele Innocenti, Mattia Virtuani

From a DataViz perspective, I think this is a great use of a Sankey Diagram. This is hierarchical data where each level breaks down the detail from the level above.
