Diwali Abhyanga Snan
I have so many fond memories of this ritual called “Abhyanga snan” from my childhood. My mom or granny use to wake us up for a bathing ritual which required us to massage our body with lukewarm Til oil followed by ubtan made from besan, curd & turmeric powder. It was followed by bathing with a fragrant soap, remember “Moti” soap? It was customary to have bath with dat soap on Roop Chaturdashi every Diwali 🪔 Lets talk abt significance of Abhyanga Snan. It primarily symbolises the elimination of evil, followed by purification process.
