This fellowship is aimed at graduates who have either obtained a PharmD and completed one or two years of residency training and/or have received a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences or pharmacy outcomes. In addition to being mentored for a career in academia, the Fellow will have the opportunity to develop and hone teaching skills with various teaching experiences.
It's easy to understand why PharmD graduates are eager to jump straight into a competitive residency or fellowship program to expand their skills. An increasing number of graduates choose postgraduate training because they know that residencies help pharmacists quickly develop skills and build a professional network that will advance their careers.
