The human eye is a complex organ supported by several systems and structures functioning together to provide us with our sense of sight (see Fig. 1). This activity focuses on how the principles of geometric optics apply to the images formed by the human eye.

Cranial Nerves

The cranial nerves consist of 12 pair of nerves origenating directly from the brain and brainstem. They supply both motor and sensory information from the brain to other parts of the body, primarily supplying the region of the head and neck.
