A Star Fold Card for almost any Occasion: To make this 6" card, you will need to start with a piece of paper measuring 12 X 12. Laying it on your mat you can easily find the center of one of the sides. Mark the 6" point and draw a line down the paper for about 2". Today I have created for you a gatefold card with an interlocking star mechanism on the front. This card is surprisingly simple to recreate, and so I made a video tutorial to step you through how to make it yourself. It would be a great Christmas project to create for a special friend! I recently got a shipment from Creative-Depot in Germany, which included this thing which looks like a die but is in fact an embossing gizmo. It made the snowflake impressions for the backdrop to this card. The pass for the second impression flattened the first impression, so I ran the piece of card through the machine again without the 'die', to get both impressions looking similar!
