Rhinopias eschmeyeri is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Scorpaenidae, the scorpionfishes. This species is native to the tropical western Indo-Pacific. The fish grows to an average length of 16.6 cm, but can reach a maximum size of 23 cm (9 in). It can be found at a depth range of 18 to 55 m (59 to 180 ft), among coral reefs or rubble seabeds.
