The Design “Not lace, but so lace-like!” We first used this traditional Estonian stitch in a scarf pattern for the 2016 LYS Tour. Not lace, but so lace-like! Not cabled, but twisted by ‘spinning’ a cluster of stitches 180°! Knit in Rowan Kidsilk Haze, a lace-weight mohair with a strong silk core, the blocked fabric is gossamer fine between the twists. And the surface has such a lovely undulating texture and motion. Twists along the edges create deep, three-dimensional scallops.
