How many times do you get takeout and have so many containers of extra rice? This is the perfect way to use it & it’s also my new favorite way to add crunch to a salad! I decided to give mine a sushi spin, but you could use any protein/dressing you want! Instead of the usual crispy wonton outside, I used crispy rice as the base 😍 Also! if you missed my other crispy rice recipe from last week, definitely check that one out too! I hope y’all enjoy ✨ Crab topping: 5-6 oz cream cheese (room temp) 4 imitation crab sticks (chopped) 1 tsp worcestershire 1/2 tsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp sesame oil 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp sugar of choice 2 tbsp green onions (chopped) -Stir everything together and then place 1-2 tbsp on top of each crispy rice. That’s what happened to me last week when I saw @pinchofyum post a crispy rice salad. Crispy rice salad?! What?! Duh. Making pronto. I love all kinds of salads. But a very herb-forward, Vietnamese-essenced salad with a super bright lime-y dressing has got to be top of the list. This reminded me of one of my FAVORITE restaurants of all time- Luc Lac Kitchen in Portland, Oregon. So fresh, light and full of flavor. Heavily inspired by Pinch of Yum but I took some creative liberties!
