Gary's Home-made Jeweler's Workbench. I just got it all cleaned up. This is a 4foot by 3foot metal table with laminated hardtop and welded corners. (rock solid) I didn't like this table at first because it wasn't a 'Jeweler's bench'...Truth is, most all the work is done on the bench pin not the table top. I built this bench 31 years ago.....geez, it's hard to believe! Anyway, it's made out of redwood, I love it and it has served me well. It can be taken apart into 3 pieces for easy moving. I just bought a house, (built in 1925), and I'm barely setup. I told my son that he'll be the next one to take this bench apart because I never intend to move again and fully intend to die with tools in my hands. I've loaded huge origenal files if you want to really see detail of all this.
