This is a digitized version of an 1895 split riding skirt in the "double breasted" style. It is shaped by a dart on either side of the front, two darts on either side of the center back, and pleated to size in the back. Two rows of buttons run along the front of either leg. These hold in place a modesty panel which may be attached to the front of the split skirt when desired. The skirt is intended to be approximately calf-length in order to not get caught in your bicycle. In this pattern, a classic bag pocket is included and is hidden in the left-hand side placket closure. Pattern Notes & Sizing *No seam allowance included.
