The Chevy LUV, an acronym for "Light Utility Vehicle", was a GM counterpart from a Isuzu partnership that served as a precursor to the Chevy S-10 that was introduced in 1981. LUVs first gens ran from '72 to '80. Further international models continued but I'm not knowledgeable on the details. This was is nostalgic because a buddy had one exactly like this when we were teenagers. They're rare sights on the roads nowadays.
