The Jolly Green Giant is an interesting mascot in that I'm entirely certain what age group he's targeted at. If he were marketed towards children I suppose the message he sends would be about how if you eat your vegetables you'll grow big and strong? and green? As a mascot he does well in that the brand is immediately recognizable when you spot the giant's green beaming face in the freezer aisle.
