Currently in construction we purchased the IKEA kura reversible bed to make it into a floor bed safe for our young child. We have made the bed but placed the bed base slats on the floor and put the mattress on the top. My idea is to eventually paint the pine colour. We are hoping the bed will last our son a long time as it can be flipped over to make a mid sleeper if wanted.
