Tips for Mixing Metals in Interior Design - Undertones
The significance of paying close attention to complementary undertones in interior design can make or break your aesthetics. Differentiating between warm and cool metal undertones isn’t always as easy as it may seem. For example, brass has a warm yellow undertone and goes well with the warm tones of polished nickel rather than a cool tone chrome. Most of the time you can bet that warm undertones will live happily together. However, polished nickel does not work with satin nickel or polished chrome. It adds too much visual texture to the eye. The point of matching undertones is to achieve a harmonious metal mix. Want to know more about mixing metals? Check out the link.
