What appeared earlier: an egg or a chicken? The right answer is rooster. He didn't hatch, he mutated from a sea horse. He liked his feathers so much, that he tricked some of his fellows into transformation. That's how they have been living till now, supplying us with the raw materials for omelet.

Not everybody was lucky enough to evolve in a proud rooster. Some accidentally turned into other birds:
