As we've demonstrated many times before in our most popular feature on Cracked, the forces of the universe love the sound of people shouting 'Fake!' at their computer screens, and photographers love to capture the proof.

Unusual and rare(around my area) Undulatus asperatus clouds.

Michelle Manley paints sweeping landscapes where the sky, rather than the land, is the focus. Huge, billowing clouds circle above like large predators, eager to devour the Earth below as the storm ensues. Manley is interested in the extreme shifts in the environment as a result of climate change. Her work depicts the sublime aspects of nature, recreating the sensation of realizing one's smallness in comparison to the universe. Take a look at some of Michelle Manley's work after the jump.

Undulatus asperatus

Even though different cloud formations might seem random and indescribable to you, there's a whole cloud classification system that's uniform worldwide. Luke Howard, British manufacturing chemist and an amateur meteorologist, was the first to introduce a nomenclature system for clouds back 1802. Here's a selection of some stunning cloud pictures - we bet that among them you'll find some cloud formations that you've never actually seen before!
