Every year, on Christmas Eve, we gather together as a family. As part of our yearly Christmas Eve traditions, we sing carols, eat yummy goodies, get a new pair of pajamas, and most importantly we act out the nativity scene with all the kids around.

What a gorgeous night with a beautiful sunset, where we took a walk to Bethlehem. As we entered the gate, we signed the register, and paid our Taxes with canned food donations. We were dressed in Biblical attire. We enjoyed feasting at the market place of pita bread and spicy hummus. It was a wonderful night in Bethlehem... We had our ward party last night. This is the Christmas party that I had in mind after I did last years ward party. I am so glad that I got to stay around and see my "vision" play out for the evening. Most wards do something like this at least once, but our ward has never done it.
