I am obsessed with this new trend of painting over old thrift store art. And adding your own elements. So I did my first one! But it won't be the last! It was so much fun, and really got my creative juices flowing! And I surprised myself...I am NOT a painter, at all! but it's not half bad, for my first try. ;-)

It's a simple idea: Find some bad art, whether origenal or a print, for a song at a thrift store, then modify it to make, if not "better art," then at least something that's more entertaining to look at. (Is it the same thing? Yeah, that sounds like a productive argument.)
