Oldmangrey Illustration Market Stall Set Up at Falkland Christmas Market - in the stables!
This was a tricky set up for us, with the stall space provided in old horse stables - including old hay bale holder & sink at the back! We felt we made the most of the space by hanging some of our items at the posts at the end & our print stand there too to catch customers eyes, to then bring them into the stall area. It was a freezing cold day & probably not a venue we'd re-visit, but always good to try something new.

Oldmangrey Illustration Market Stall Set Up at Tasty Buns Bakery Festive Shopping Night Dec 2024!
We had a shared table space at this wonderful market, in the beautiful setting of Tasty Buns Bakery in Edinburgh. The owner, Louise, ran a mince pie fest and so we had a delicious evening too! While it was a bit of a squeeze sharing a space, we made the most of it by building height as much as possible, and it was an amazing evening of chats, sales, and eating! :D

We had a great space at this market - we'd paid for wall space to allow us to display our prints, tea towel and other products to best effect, and were so chuffed with all of this display space. We were also able to place our print stand to the left of the table in front of the brick wall. We're always learning how best to display our items, but we're improving all the time :)

A great venue we'd never been to before, and the local community really turned out to support all the small businesses. We didn't have wall space which was a shame, but plenty room to show off our products including our print stand to the right.

Oldmangrey Illustration Market Stall Set Up at Bowhouse Fife Saturday 9th November.
We lucked out with the space assigned to us at the wonderful Bowhouse market in Fife last month! It allowed us plenty of space for our prints and peg board walls, and a window to display our A3 prints & tea towel. It makes such a difference to have decent space to display our products as best we can & catch folks' eyes to come over to chat & hopefully shop!

A wonderful space for us at the monthly Portobello Town Hall, with plenty of wall space to set up a display of our prints, tea towels & tote bags. This makes such a difference for catching shopper's attention!

This office block in Edinburgh offer space in their lobby to small businesses for free, to try to catch the lunch time market of their staff heading in & out to get their sandwiches, and hopefully doing some shopping at the same time! There's no backing / wall space, but think we did the best with the space available here.
