Kentucky Gymnastics Slotted No. 7 in WCGA Preseason Rankings
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky gymnastics has been voted No. 7 in the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Preseason Rankings, the association announced Tuesday evening.
The Wildcats enter the 2025 meet slate after a successful meet season in 2024 including numerous individual and team records set. Head Coach Tim Garrison enters his 14th season at the helm of the program which is celebrating its 51st season as a varsity sport at the University of Kentucky.
Team 51 will feature 11 returning Wildcats, including Isabella Magnelli, Hailey Davis and Delaynee Rodriguez, as well as eight newcomers which includes fifth-year senior transfer Skylar Killough-Wilhelm and freshman Anna Flynn Cashion.
Big Blue Nation can catch a preview of the No. 7 Wildcats this Sunday at Historic Memorial Coliseum for the annual Blue White Meet at 2 p.m. EST.
Kentucky will begin 2025 on the road at the Sprouts Farmer’s Market Collegiate Quad in Oklahoma City, Okla. competing in the third session on Jan. 11. The Cats will then return home for the Historic Memorial Coliseum soft opening hosting No. 6 Alabama for a Southeastern Conference matchup.
