Advertised Job Summary | The Family Child Care Quality Coach functions as a part of the South Carolina Child Care & Resource Referral team of statewide Instructors/Training Coordinators (Quality Coaches) that provides technical assistance and professional development to early childhood programs and collaborates with partner agencies to coordinate services. This position is home-based. For this position, the selected applicant must obtain two approvals, both from SC Endeavors, within 12 months of employment: (1) Approval as a South Carolina Certified Trainer Credential in all areas of child development (2) Approval as a South Carolina Certified Technical Assistance Provider. |

Job Duty | Technical Assistance: Collect, analyze, and use data from early childhood programs, licensing representatives, and community partners in the service delivery area to meet the diversity of early childhood settings (home-based, center-based, faith-based, school-based). Conduct on-site and virtual technical assistance to assigned counties/regions and develop quality improvement plans in partnership with early childhood programs to maintain or increase program-wide quality levels. Plan and implement child care networks (family child care, child care directors, special interest groups) and/or Communities of Practice with child care programs to increase program quality and advocacy. |
