Temperatures for the period averaged 64 degrees across the state which was 1 degrees warmer than normal
. High temperatures averaged from 76 in the West to 74 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West
to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 56 degrees in the West
to 53 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 3 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 112 at MCKEE 5S and the extreme low was 0 at HAZARD AWOS.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 23.08 inches statewide which was 0.09 inches below normal
and 100% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 24.88 inches, Central 25.20 inches,
Bluegrass 21.03 inches and East 21.21 inches, which was 1.87, 1.18, -1.03 and -2.38 inches respectively from normal.
By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 11.55 inches at WILLIAMSBURG AWOS to a high of 30.84
inches at MURRAY 1W.
