Temperatures for the period averaged 40 degrees across the state which was 0 degrees from normal and 18 degrees cooler than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 49 in the West to 48 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 2 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 33 degrees in the West to 32 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 2 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 70 degrees at FORT CAMPBELL and the extreme low was 7 degrees at HARTFORD 3E.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 3.93 inches statewide which was 0.33 inches below normal and 92% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 4.14 inches, Central 4.30 inches, Bluegrass 3.54 inches and East 3.75 inches, which was 0.16, 0.3, 0.29 and 0.55 inches below normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 0.93 inches at WILLIAMSBURG AWOS to a high of 6.60 inches at MURRAY 1W.
