Severe Thunderstorms and Flooding Rains Saturday Across Parts of Northeast and Mid-Atlantic
Severe thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening across parts of the mid-Atlantic states. Strong winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes can be expected. Areas of torrential rainfall will also lead to threats of flooding. Be prepared to take protective action in these regions. Elsewhere, a heat wave will push afternoon temperatures above 100 degrees F across parts of the west.
