Office of Tribal Affairs (OTAP)

OTAP is an office within the SAMHSA, which serves as the primary point of contact for tribal governments, tribal organizations, federal departments and agencies, and other governments and agencies on behavioral health issues facing American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN) in the United States. SAMHSA addresses mental health and substance use issues among American Indians and Alaska Natives through the National Tribal Behavioral Health Agenda and other initiatives.
