Friends of the National Zoo offers educational programming for people of all ages through camps, classes, overnights, school programs and lectures. Undergraduate, graduate and professional trainings are offered through the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation.

Classes at the Zoo

Go wild with children's classes at the Smithsonian's National Zoo. Winter and spring programs for ages 0-12 are open for registration.

The Smithsonian's National Zoo reopened to visitors July 24, but birthday parties are canceled for the remainder of 2020.
