NTTAC provides custom strategies based on the needs of the state, tribe, or community seeking assistance. Levels of Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) NTTAC offers TTA in several content areas across three levels: Generalized Individualized Intensive Generalized TTA This level of TTA involves wide-range distribution of resources for putting innovations into practice. Generalized TTA raises awareness on issues and helps states, tribes, and communities develop strategies for system design and implementation. Generalized TTA includes access to resources developed by NTTAC’s core partners on broad-based topics. Individualized TTA This level of TTA is a customized approach that may include assignment of a lead consultant. The lead consultant delivers specific technical expertise, serves as a coach, and/or facilitates access to other content experts. Individualized TTA includes rapid responses to specific questions and requests for resource materials. It also may include accelerated access to a content expert for a brief telephone or email consultation. States, tribes, and communities may also join Learning Communities (LCs). LCs focus on topical content that is developed based on commonly identified needs. LCs are open to interested stakeholders, who are connected through an email group to support peer-to-peer communication, networking, and learning. LCs include online training, webinars, podcasts, office hours, and other resources. Intensive TTA This level of TTA is targeted to states, tribes, and communities that, because of to their phase of development, need an intensive, custom approach to accelerate their ability to advance child behavioral health reforms. Entities seeking intensive TTA must apply to NTTAC to request it. Upon approval, intensive TTA might include onsite work with our experts or peer-exchange site visits. Intensive TTA also is available to support the development of internal training and TTA capacity for centers of excellence.
