If you have received a call or email from someone claiming to be from the Federal Reserve regarding suspicious activity in a bank account, be aware that this is a scam. The Federal Reserve does not maintain funds or accounts for individuals, and it will not directly email or call you about any account activity. If you've been contacted as part of this scheme, please alert your financial institution immediately. If you believe you are a victim of this or another scam, contact your local law enforcement.
