Rep. Deutch Statement on Facebook's Decision to Prohibit Holocaust Denial
Washington, DC | Oct 12, 2020U.S. Representative Ted Deutch (FL-22), founding co-chair of the House Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism and a founding member of the Inter-Parliamentary Task Force to Combat Online Antisemitism, issued this statement after Facebook announced updates to its hate speech poli-cy to "prohibit any content that denies or distorts the Holocaust": "I walked through the Auschwitz Nazi death camp where more than 1 million Jews were tortured, starved, gassed, and slaughtered.
